Maddie's Dinosaur Program

4/24/08-Madison stayed after school a few days a week for the past few weeks to learn her dinosaur songs. She also got to go to a really fun dinosaur activity! She sang her heart out at the program. It was really fun to watch her. The picture on the bottom is Madison and her 2nd grade teacher, Mrs. Aagard.

Our latest adventure..... Raising chickens! The kids really have enjoyed these little chicks. We got them on Brendon's birthday. They are growing so fast. Lindsey's is a barred rock named Passion. Madison's is a mystery breed named Daphne. Brendon's is an Americana named Blackie. Annika's is a buff orphington named Teeka. They all got to pick their own chick and name it. Hopefully they will all grow up to be great egg layers. Maddie's keeps jumping up to the rim of the box and perching there. I am just waiting to come into the room to find chickens everywhere. I guess they need to move on to a bigger home. I am not sure where to put it though. Too bad it's not warm enough for outside yet.

April 11th

4/11/2008 Here's Brendon's party. He's 6 now! He had a party with friends from the neighborhood. It was lots of fun. He told me that Wal-Mart makes better cakes than I do, so I got him the Transformer cake from Wal-Mart. I think only one of the kids (out of 12 or so) even ate one bite of cake. Next time I will make a cake from a mix and stick a transformer on top of it.

Danna's new blog

I am making this blog for my big sister. She is a busy mom of 5 and usually has a few extras running around too. She is a good mom and has taught her kids to choose the right and be nice to others. She likes to eat treats and go on dates with Ryan. She is very generous and thoughtful. She is a good example to all that know her.
